'Two People' Explores the Bonds of Domestic Life and Family

Singapore-based photographer Sean Lee focuses his lens on his parents in his latest project 'Two People.' Intent on discovering and exploring the invisible bonds that connect members of a family, Lee began this project five years ago and has no plans on stopping.

The camera has been wholly integrated into his lifestyle and relationship with his parents; in fact, Lee even goes as far as to suggest that the camera's presence, as well as the latency of the project, has lead to some spontaneous and intimate moments that might have otherwise never surfaced. It's hard to believe, but Lee contends that he has only experienced his parents' loving and intimate exchanges through the proxy of the lens.

Beyond exploring his parents relationship between each other, Lee has discovered a sense of his own self.
