The 'TV House' is a Wood-Cladded Hidden Hideaway

From the outside, the 'TV House' looks like an oddly-shaped private structure. This lack of visual interest however was purposeful. Apart from a single door, this introverted house closes off the outside, but its interior proves to be a much more open and welcoming space.

Architect Bruno Vanbesien had a unique inspiration for the structure: old-style Belgian farmhouses and traditional communal residences in China. Using his inspirations, Vanbesien designed a simple square-shaped home with an addition of a sloped ceiling to keep the home private from neighbors. The closed-off exterior is a stark contrast to the open-concept interior.

Large windows across the main floor also bring in an abundance of light, providing extensive views of the large courtyard. Light-clored furnishings and a minimalist design brighten up the hidden hideaway's interior.
