Baseball Team-Inspired Sneakers

These Turquoise Air Jordans Were Made to Honor the Florida Marlins

As a means to commemorate the Florida Marlins’ victory during the 1997 World Series, a pair of turquoise Air Jordans was designed.

The colorway, though different from the team's, was chosen to reflect the Miami lifestyle, which it succeeds at by making the sneakers bright and statement-worthy. Sleek and lightweight, the upper is constructed with tumbled leather of premium quality. A few synthetic accents of the same color meanwhile offer a little more depth to the design, which carries down to the sole as well.

Everything from the laces to the inner lining of the turquoise Air Jordans makes use of the same bright colorway, with only a slight amount of gold making up the branding on the tongue and offering a few lavish speckles to parts of the sole.
