Jointly Juxtaposed Style Campaigns

The Tru Trussardi Fall/Winter 2014/2015 Advertisements Contrast

The Tru Trussardi Fall/Winter 2014/2015 campaign does an impressive job of playing up on varying colors and images. Photographer Collier Schorr juxtaposed portraits of model Lindsey Wixson with one another, enabling viewers to focus on the current collection in addition to the brand's artistic direction.

Black and white shots of Wixson are matched with bubble gum pink backdrops and pale grey sets. As a direct consequence of this choice, the advertisements are both subdued and deliberately playful, vacillating somewhere between the two motifs.

Showcased via the pictures are dark red leather jackets, button up denim shirts, patterned jeans, professional blazers and large overhanging trench coats. Each piece merges sensibility with daring elements, the exact mix that many shoppers desire.
