Wendy’s recently began testing a gourmet burger called the Truffle Bacon Cheeseburger. While many fast food chains have begun experimenting with more high-end ingredients, Wendy's is taking this concept to the extreme with its new truffle aioli.

The new Truffle Bacon Cheeseburger is an exclusive item that has only been spotted at locations in New England and Nashville, Tennessee. The sandwich consists of an all-beef patty topped with Applewood smoked bacon, mixed greens, truffle aioli, sliced tomato, a slice of cheese and a creamy parmesan cheese sauce. The sandwich is then served on a buttery croissant bun for an extra gourmet touch. To complement the new dish, the chain is also testing Bacon Truffle Fries topped with similar gourmet toppings.
