The Trojan Deer is probably one of the cutest sculptures out there right now. Although obviously inspired by the Trojan Horse that let the Greeks finally to enter the city of Troy to bring an end to the Trojan War, this whimsical artwork is not meant for such hardened and battle-ready acts. Instead of being controlled by ancient soldiers and warriors, the Trojan Deer is being piloted by adorable tiny chickens.
Created by Kristie Carlisle Duncan, a MFA student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, the Trojan Deer is made from a patchwork of fabrics that makes it look like a moulded quilt. Expertly executed, this concept behind the Trojan Deer would surely make a great premise for a Pixar film.
