Tritek's Range Extender Features a 500-Cycle Battery Life

'Tritek' announced that its new e-bike range extender is entering the mass production phase. This range extender boasts a continuous output of 3-6A and acts as a charger of an existing battery pack rather than acting as an e-bike conversion kit that powers the bike on its own. This device is compact and easy to attach to an existing e-bike. Additionally, the range extender will not be damaged by moderate weather conditions as it features IP67 certification.

The range extender includes 10 Samsung-branded 21,700 cells, and its battery life is rated for 500 cycles. This is standard given that the device is incredibly compact and weighs only 1.2kg. Lastly, Tritek's range extender is hot-swappable with up to four extenders. This means users can connect four extenders on a single ride, and they will automatically swap to each other as they are depleted.
