The Tree Floor Lamp Rises with an Asymmetrical Trunk and Branches

A large proportion of contemporary light fixtures are designed to be utilitarian objects rather than decorative ones; on the other hand, the Tree Floor Lamp has been created to become a focal point in a room with more visual draw than for what's delivered from its bright source.

Danielle Trofe made the aslant stand of the sculptural object from steel, assembling the segments in such a way that form zigzagging connections. The overall shape of it looks crooked, yet it's counterbalanced well on its tripod base and with its leaning upper branch. The metal sticks that splay away from the main boughs of the Tree Floor Lamp have metal twigs too. It's from these that bare lightbulbs dangle like glowing fruits.
