The fluid and sinuous quality of the Trailfinders Australian Garden canopy gives its surroundings a surreal and futuristic feel that makes it a great place to visit. Stunning in its pristine white presence, it blends two worlds (the natural and the man made) in perfect balance while allowing both to complement rather than overshadow each other.
Co-designed by MakMax engineer Martin Eddleston and project manager, Julian Phillips, the Trailfinders Australian Garden is made out of MakMax's unique textiles, yielding a seamless and organic design. These materials boast reduced wind loads and degradation, while allowing the creation of sculptural shapes.
The Trailfinders Australian Garden was presented by Felmings during the 2011 RSH Chelsea Flower Show and received multiple awards.
