Torres lighting hopes to transform urban landscapes through offering a re-design of the classic city lamp.
The new design, created by Rodrigo Torres and Lighting Design Alliance's Chip Israel, features a seamlessly integrated example of urban design that offers city streets a sense of elegance. The design's minimal aesthetic subtly nods to elements of both modern and traditional architecture. Torres lights aim to complement city landscapes, enhancing the vibrancy of a location's urban design, as opposed to distracting or taking away from it.
In addition to its design, the integrated LED lights can illuminate a larger portion of streets, campuses, pathways or wherever the device is placed. The subtle glow offers minimal intrusion, and eliminates glare and uplighting, offering a sense of security and comfort.
