Brazilian-born industrial designers Fernando and Humberto Campana have applied their design skills to a line of furniture for the Italian haute couture furnishing company, Edra. The line incorporates shards of colorful acrylic laser-cut mirror, attached to cabinetry as well as ragged-cut shiny patent leather draped furnishings including chairs.
In their ‘Leatherworks’ chair, the Campana brothers use the juxtaposition of imperfect, ragged, almost random, bits of leather in a variety of textures and colors to create masterfully crafted designer seating.
