The product is made with a base of sorbitol and xylitol, two ingredients that are sweet and useful for preventing the growth of acid-producing bacteria. Agar-agar, the jelly-like substance sourced from red algae, is what gives the products their unique texture.
Lush Cosmetics' Toothpaste Jelly is offered in a range of colors and flavors with different functional benefits. While White Fang is cooling and shares a traditional fresh taste, Plaque Sabbath gets its dark color from activated charcoal. There's also Strawberries & Clean, Spearmint Bubblegum and the gentle Purple Bananas.
The unique oral care products are packaged in completely recycled and recyclable pots.
