Careful to ensure that each beach canvas is created below the tidal zones where the sand is flatter and wetter, Tony Plant is able to ensure a greater contrast between the top of the surface and his own geometric markings. Although Tony Plant's artworks last only for a matter of hours before the next incoming tide wipes it away, they show that interacting with nature can be purely in the moment.
