Lip-Shaped Lavatory Retailers

The Tom Rebl Flagship Store Features an Unconventional Design

The Tom Rebl Flagship Store takes its design inspiration from that of a public washroom. Located in the heart of Osaka, Japan's luxury Herbis shopping complex, the concrete-clad retail space is both modern and raw in its high art concept.

The fashion retailer worked in collaboration with Milan's Se77e design agency to make the industrial space come to life. Aiming to achieve an air of masculinity, the Tom Rebl Flagship Store pushes design boundaries with its off-kilter shopping concept.

The space is open highlighting exposed pipes, free-standing sinks and wall mounted urinals. The sleek interior is tied together with racks of clothing and the label's signature lip mark branding and signage, seen as the oversized handle to the shop's grand entry doors.
