'Titanic VR' Brings the Sunken Titanic to Life for Immersive Education

Since there is only so much that a film can convey about the sunken RMS Titanic, Immersive VR Education has taken it upon itself to create an immersive, educational 'Titanic VR experience.'

To retell the story of the legendary ship and its passengers, Immersive VR Education used detailed 3D models of the sunken ship, motion capture, face-scanning technology and professional voice actors. For the development of the project, Immersive VR Education also worked with BBC to collect real-life stories from survivors to make the virtual reality experience all the more realistic.

Following a successful campaign on Kickstarter to bring Titanic VR to life, Immersive VR Education has created a storyline that takes viewers to the wreckage, as well as a mode for free exploration that has the potential to engage users of all ages.
