Tinder & Deliveroo are Sharing Profiles of Singles with Food

For Valentine's Day, Tinder and Deliveroo are joining forces to turn food deliveries into dating services by printing profiles of local single people on orders. The idea was inspired by Tinder observing that there's a "84% increase year on year in user bios featuring the word "takeaway."'

Ordering from one of five Wingstop restaurants on Deliveroo gives customers the chance to participate in the DeliverDate initiative, which will make sure that their meal arrives with QR codes that link to the Tinder profiles of six singles in their area, right on time for Valentine's Day.

Scanning the profile will give food delivery recipients the ability to swipe right on a match and initiate a conversation, provided the prospective match feels the connection too.
