Paul Croft designs the five-piece 'Timber' collection for modular furniture label Isomi. The Timber collection is comprised of a series of wooden storage or display pieces that are able to be configured in a number of ways or function as its own individual furniture. The series is designed to fill the spaces of work environments and public settings, and this also marks the label's first project of wooden furniture. Croft emphasizes that he focused closely on material and construction, whilst keeping the form simplistic.
Every piece is created so that it can be viewed from any angle and includes thoughtful details throughout the front and back. The first furniture piece is the Chamfer, which is a series of interconnected modules that come together in a steel frame with concrete legs. The second is the Stack, which is a stacking system that boasts a U-shape and the Grid is an eight-piece series that offers both open and closed storage units. In addition, the collection's 360 storage unit and the Bench are all able to work in conjunction with every piece in the Timber collection.
