Retro Cafe Makeovers

This Tim Hortons Cafe Immerses Itself in Its 1964 Roots

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, one of Canada's most beloved coffee chains set up a special Tim Hortons cafe to transport everyone back to 1964.

The stunt involved recreating the original Tim Hortons building, right down to the details like display cases, stools and picture frames. In addition to just the look of the cafe, for the event, all of the original donuts, packaging, employees and customers were brought back to this blast from the past. To really create the feel of the 60s, Tim Hortons went all out beyond just the interior of the coffee shop, bringing in vintage cars, music, newspapers and even people dressed in mod fashions from decades ago, transporting everyone back to where it all began.
