American-based commercial and military helicopter manufacturer Bell has gone ahead and unveiled an experimental tilt-rotor aircraft, dubbed the 'V-280 Valor,' that features inputs from some of the biggest names in the business including Lockheed Martin, General Electric, Meggitt and Spirit AeroSystems.
The V-280 Valor, which recently completed its first cruise flight, makes use of a variety of high-tech design features that include a honeycomb composite design that allows for considerable weight savings without having to compromise sturdiness.
