The Giant Canyon Swing Thrill Ride Dangles Over the Edge

Daredevils and adventure-seekers will love the newest thrill ride available at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Colorado, US. The Giant Canyon Swing pendulum swings riders over the beautiful Colorado River for one scary ride.

Standing at a total of 1,300-ft above the Colorado River, riders can see their life flash before them as they take a seat on one of the scariest and most intense swinging rides in the world. Sitting only a mere 400-m from the side of a cliff, riders are sent swinging up to a 112-degree angle over the river. As riders look down, they can see the dangerously low plunging drop into the Colorado river.

While this thrill ride only lasts a total of 60-seconds, the creator, Steve Beckley, has only tried it once because it's so scary.
