Canadian Premature Babies Foundation collaborated with TBWA\Canada to create The Sweat Sheet, a first-of-its-kind shirt designed to retain a mother's scent and transform into a mattress cover for babies in the NICU. This dual-purpose shirt was inspired by research that proves how soothing and comforting a mother's scent can be for premature babies, even when she's not present.
To fasten onto a NICU mattress, the design integrates a tab and fastener system, as well as neckties for a safe, secure fit.
The Sweat Sheet drives donations to the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation to provide it to families of premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit who would benefit from extra comfort in the unfamiliar environment of an incubator.
