The Oru Kayak Folds into A Plastic Briefcase for You to Carry

Anton Willis wanted to come up with a way to be able to carry his kayak from the city to the lake with minimal effort so he created the Oru Kayak.

The 12 feet 25 pound environmentally friendly paddle boat is able to fold up into a handheld metal bag and loaded into the trunk of car. Applying the principles found in the Japanese art of Origami to his boat invention. It is made out of one sheet of sheet of double-layered plastic. You just need to do up the clasps and settle the seat within the kayak before you head out onto the water. The boat is very sturdy and quality made, it is able to cart you around the sea without you worrying about it springing a leak.

The Oru Kayak is expected to be released to the public for 2013. Currently it is a Kickstarter project.
