The Opera Browser Was Updated with a Tracking Blocker

The 69th version of the Opera browser was recently launched with a number of new features. However, the most notable addition to the Opera browser is a tracker blocker that will not allow advertisers or others to track the user. The tracker blocker is also able to increase browsing speed, and the company indicates that when the tracking blocker is combined with the ad-blocker that browsing speeds can be up to 23% faster.

It's clear that the new Opera browser was created to provide performance as well as privacy. The Opera PC product manager, Joanna Czajka spoke about the new browser, "Our browser, however, also has plenty of extended privacy features which come in handy when someone feels the need to increase the privacy of their browsing even further."
