As the world population continues to grow every minute, the problem of food and hunger is becoming increasingly important; and now, there is an app called the Mogl that aims to provide an easy and convenient way to get people to donate money to food banks. The app works so that when users decide to go out to a restaurant, the diner’s bill then becomes an opportunity for users to donate part of the bill to a food bank.
The restaurant rewards app encourages diners by offering a 10% cash back for eating at a Mogl approved eatery and allows users the freedom to decide how much of the bill’s money they would like to donate.
Jon Carder, the founder of Mogl comments on food scarcity, "fifty million Americans are meal insecure. A meal insecure person will miss 16 meals each month on average."
