The Last Minute series is inspired by the rituals and traditions performed by different cultures to mourn death and celebrate life. Through these influences, this collection of urns becomes even more meaningful and insightful than typical urns, especially those used in America, being as symbolic as they are functional.
Created by Patrycja Domanska, The Last Minute series is comprised of four objects. The Sea Urn is inspired by the death ship that sent the deceased across water rather than burying them under ground or cremating them. The Figure Urn features numerous removable figurines on top of a traditional urn, allowing loved ones to keep a momento when the urn is left in a cemetery. The Tear Jug collects tears that then nourishes flowers that are placed within it. The Coins simply provides a way to remember a lost love.
