Serene Industries Designs the Icebreaker Keyboard

Denis Agarkov is a designer, filmmaker, and the founder of Serene Industries -- he introduced the Icebreaker keyboard for himself. It is a 65% mechanical keyboard with inspiration drawn from the profile of New York City's Flatiron building. The structure replicates the silhouette and it is carved from a solid block of 6061 aluminum to have a sharp structure. It mimics the building when it is viewed from certain angles.

The designer notes, "I wanted to create a radical design that reveals very little at first glance – an object that can almost feel alien, yet have all of the functionality that a mechanical keyboard enthusiast would want." In terms of the technicalities, it embodies full-height MX switches which means each key registers its own keystrokes and produces the satisfying click and clack sound.
