In a flashback to the early millennium, we’re looking at BMW’s mini series approach to online advertising. The Hire was perfect for those who can’t stand sitting in the movie theatre for hours on end, watching films that seem to drag on forever. Since the release of these ads, we’ve seen a huge rise in popularity in online film shorts.
This series of eight short BMW films was produced for the Internet, and features the work of some of the top filmmakers and actors across the world. The main attraction to the series is "The Driver" who is played by Clive Owen, a character who is hired to be the transport for the needs of various, mysterious individuals.
