Monochromatic Checkered Casualwear

WTAPS, Hiroshi Fujiwara, & THE CONVENI Join Forces on a Capsule

Japanese streetwear imprint WTAPS works with fragment design by Hiroshi Fujiwara, and Tokyo concept retailer THE CONVENI on a three-way collaborative collection for the Winter 2019 season. The trio designed the casualwear pieces with inspiration drawn from the game Othello, also known as Reversi. It is a strategy board game by Mattel and it boasts a checkerboard pattern of black and white details.

The capsule features a long sleeve checkered shirt, short and long sleeve tees in black or white options, and the actual board game itself. The collaborative capsule comes with a miniature iteration of the came that come with branded counter pieces in place of the original pieces. The capsule is now available to shop at Tokyo's THE CONVENI store location.
