Inspired by the Shape of the Slinky, the CMF Comes in Various Height Springs

Andreea Cornila is the brainpower behind the CMF planter. Inspired by Richard James' classic toy, the Slinky, the Bucharest-based designer pays homage to the childhood symbol with her planter stand. Shaped like a vertical coiled spring, the CMF can be used as a floating stand for plants or a sleek side table with a matte surface.

Each hand-spun planter is made from a single sheet of aluminum. The spring itself is made from an elastic type of steel. Available in various height springs, the organic and timeless design boasts a light gradient paint job, suitable for indoor and outdoor setups. Cornila explains that "the shape and motion of the Slinky toy fascinate me, as it offers a multitude of expressive silhouettes."
