The Cellphone As Multimedia Object- Isabella Rossellini Mounts A Housefly On Your Screen

Actress Isabella Rossellini, a 20 year veteran of the big screen, is involved in a project to direct a series of short 1 minute films specifically designed for cellphones and computers. Three of the films were already showcased at the Berlin International Film Festival recently and in each of the episodes the subject of how insects copulate is illustrated with the help of props and costumes with Rossellini playing the role of the male insect. Canadian filmmaker Jody Shapiro who is Rossellini's co-director says:"Seeing Isabella Rossellini mount a housefly from behind while smiling at the camera,"...I can't imagine many people would have ever thought they'd see that."
