Video Coded Patterned Scarves

The Brooklyn Block Will Digitally Transform Your Neighborhood

Fashion retail store The Brooklyn Block has made it its mission to creating one of a kind scarves that have everything to do with the geography of the retail store, Brooklyn (and New York City) video patterned scarves. The designers and creators have come up with a series of scarves that reflect definitive patters that are generated from videos shot of a specific neighborhood, processed in code, the code is then printed on a scarf. Each scarf has a definitive artistic yet technological take on each neighborhood that is reflected in its various colors, textures and cascading layers of the target neighborhood.

"The Brooklyn block offers products that tell stories. We are a passionate bunch with background in interaction, architecture and urban design. Our goal is to create remarkably thoughtful and exploratory products," states The Brooklyn Block’s site.
