The conceptual 'Testudo' shield and helmet is a protective piece of equipment for those in an area that is experiencing an earthquake to help them maintain their safety at all times in a dedicated way. The wearable maintains an almost tortoiseshell design that will fit overtop of the head, shoulders and chest to protect the person from falling debris. The wearable maintains a historically influenced design that calls to mind the armor worn by the Romans to protect them from arrows and other projectiles.
