Angular Terraced Gardens

The Hilgard Garden by Barensfeld Architecture is a Modern Design

Angular terraced gardens are not completely common when it comes to designing one's backyard, but Barensfeld Architecture firm has come up with a way to make it work. The company's latest design is titled the Hilgard Garden, and is situated in Berkeley California.

The design was done in this angular fashion due to the smaller space and steep incline of the area. The owner wanted to make the most of this backyard space, but also not get rid of the natural elements. As such, Barensfeld went with this angled look to work with the topography, which also gave the residences more room for walking around.

Barensfeld Architecture demonstrates that a smaller space shouldn't deter homeowners from building the garden they love.
