The Technics x Fritz Hansen collaboration was debuted during the 2026 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen within the Sound Club exhibition as a series of products that are functional, fashionable and ready for home use.
The first product in the collaboration is the Technics SL-40CBT turntable that's obsessed in an oxblood color with a matte deep profile, while featuring dependable functionality thanks to the direct-drive motor system. The turntable also features Bluetooth and an intuitive control panel. The collaboration features the Kaiser Idell lamp up next as a nod to the Bauhaus design original by Christian Dell from 1935 and pays homage to it on its 90th anniversary.
The Technics x Fritz Hansen collaboration will go on sale starting in October 2026, but will see the turntable limited to 300 units and the lamp to 200 units worldwide.
