The only big difference is that the Teardrop Shelf does have an artistic twist that drops down as though it were a tear.
Designed by Oliva and Lee of The Waver Tree Co., a company based in Maine, the Teardrop Shelf is made out of red cedar and pine. Granted, it does serve more of a decorative purpose than a practical one since the shelving itself is quite shallow. This means that only a limited amount of items can fit on it.
