The Tavi Gevinson Rookie Website is Launched and Ready to Go

In today's day and age, 15-year-old bloggers can become fashion superstars and land themselves in the front row of the world's most prestigious fashion shows, and the result of that fame leads to the Tavi Gevinson Rookie website.

The teenage blogger started her site, "Style Rookie," in 2008, when she was just 11 years old, which documented her daily wardrobe choices as well as favorite collections, and eventually grew to become a place to find her reviews of collections and fashion shows.

The Tavi Gevinson Rookie website, however, is a site for teenagers and it encompasses everything teens would be interested in, rather than being focused only on fashion. Style remains, however, an important aspect of the site.

Gevinson explains of the site aimed at teenage girls, "After being in all these meetings with publishing companies and advertisers and stuff, it's like everyone just wants to trick people into reading their website. If the content is good, people will read it."
