Movie-Inspired Vacation Cars

The Tartan Prancer is a Re-Invented Nation Lampoon’s Vacation Vehicle

The Tartan Prancer is the featured vehicle that will appear in the summer flick 'Vacation,' which is an overdue sequel to the 1983 'National Lampoon’s Vacation.' This quirky family car is a reinvented 21 century version of the 'Wagon Queen Family Truckster' that appeared in the original movie.

The newly upgraded bright blue Tartan Prancer resembles a Toyota Previa minivan. The hilarious vehicle features exterior martini glass holders, four rearview mirrors and an interior drinking fountain. In addition there is a gas tank, a diesel tank and an electric charging outlet.

This family vacation-ready vehicle is not only the star in the upcoming Vacation film, it has also been featured in a few spoof ads. While the car doesn't actually exist for purchasing, it is still a humorous vehicle that would surely make any family trip a little more exciting.
