Vogue Nippon Hearts Tao Okamoto in the November 2009 Issue

The November 2009 issue of Vogue Nippon features Japanese model (and Phillip Lim muse) Tao Okamoto in a variety of styles and shoots. Daniel Jackson captures cover girl Okamoto as an ‘80s-inspired goth rocker styled in the editorial, ‘Hard to Impress.’

Photographers Inez van Lamsweerde, Vinoodh Matadin, Glen Luchford, and Solve Sundsbo also contribute pictorials using only Tao Okamoto for the issue. This is the first time the publication has ever featured an Asian model in this way.
