Fashion Bartering Apps

Swappi Helps Users Trade Clothes Via an App

Swappi is an app that was developed by the students of Central Saint Martins during the Fashion Start Up Weekend at London’s Google headquarters. The app is described as "a clothing swapping party meets Tinder for your wardrobe."

After taking pictures of the clothes in your closet, you can browse snapshots of garments that have been uploaded by other users and agree to make a trade. The app has a simple Instagram-like interface and it’s a great way to swap out a garment that doesn’t fit or you no longer love.

Currently, the clothing-swapping app has yet to launch, but on its site, interested users can sign up to be notified of when it will go live.
