Susi Godoy Captures Artemis Sunbathing in the Forest

Jackelline Weiga dresses a the Greek goddess 'Ártemis' for photographer Susi Godoy. Deep in the forest the shimmering model lies in the sun soaking in its rays. Her headband, garments and something about her stare remind us of the daughter of Zeus.

In the Greek myth, Ártemis was a huntress so as she wanders through the forest, there is a sense that the doe-like dame is resting after a good hunt. Her flowing white dress, golden accessories and the fabric detail around her waist mimics traditional toga style outfits.

Photographer Susi Godoy does an incredible job at capturing the beauty under the right frame of natural light. Even as she lies in the shade, her shoulders and face are illuminated, making her look angelic and royal even in the dark. The model's defined eyebrows and light blue eyes also add to the effect that although she is beautiful she is also a powerful female figure.
