Christopher Shannon Releases New F/W13 Lookbook for his KIDDA Line

British designer Christopher Shannon has chosen a DIY approach to showcase his KIDDA Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection, having just released a surreal sportswear lookbook that turns to the photocopier as inspiration. Images are distinctly abstract in nature (following the visual precedent set by the diffusion label's surreal floral lookbook for Spring/Summer 2013), comprised of a contemporary mix of grainy, black and white shots and cleaner photographs in others.

"I’m so done with endless retouching and chasing the usual campaign mood," Shannon says. "I wanted the images to feel like someone had touched them and been considerate without being too precious."

Featured styles are casual, sporty and wearable, ranging from simple sweats and tees to reworked camou cargo pants and shirting with contrast print sleeves. Coordinated ensembles come decorated with ornate pixilated patterns on white grounds.
