Now that over 5,000 lives have been lost to the devastating recent earthquake in Nepal, disaster relief organizations are doing their best to encourage support for Nepal. In London, Grub Club will soon be hosting a special dinner at Rajiv's Kitchen, with the aim of raising over $7,000 for relief.
Meals will be prepared by Nepalese chef Rajiv KC and two Michelin-starred chefs, featuring a three-course dinner that will be served while disaster response experts talk about some of their past experiences. The event will also help community members get involved by offering spots where people can volunteer as servers.
Tickets to the event on May 7th cost $100 per person and all proceeds from the special event will go to directly to Nepal through the Dolma Development Fund and Womankind Worldwide.
