Subway's US Locations Will Offer Contactless Takeout Options

With a surge in COVID-19 cases expected throughout the coming winter months, Subway announced that it would be launching curbside pickup options at 11,000 of its restaurant locations throughout the United States.

Customers can take advantage of the contactless takeout option when they place their order through the Subway app or website, where they'll have the option to request curbside pickup. When they arrive at the designated location, consumers can part in the pickup parking spots, and then tap the "I'm Here" feature in the app. Employees will deliver the sandwiches to the customer's car wearing PPE, and all sandwiches will include safety seals to ensure orders are not opened before they get to the customer.
