New York-based artist Stacy Leigh has revealed her latest art exhibition called 'Escape to B-Roll.' The art exhibition consists of ten paintings created during Stacy Leigh's stay at the WOAW Gallery's location at 9 Queen's Road Central in Hong Kong. The paintings in the art exhibition are inspired by Stacy Leigh's fantasy of leaving her apartment and moving to a house somewhere away from the noise and chaos of the city.
The paintings in 'Escape to B-Roll' feature sceneries of suburban houses and landscapes modeled after typical American suburban housing areas. Specifically, each painting illustrates a quaint house surrounded by greenery and rivers. Several paintings in the art exhibition also illustrate common suburban qualities, such as retro-styled cars, potted plants, dogs, lit houses, patios, lawn chairs, portable swimming pools, and several bundles of trees. Additionally, the paintings have quirky titles such as 'House full o hoes,' 'Bad bish,' and 'The life of a drone day 8.' The art exhibition is on display at the WOAW Gallery in Hong Kong until April 19, 2023.
