This stunning theater is located in Wuzi, China. Scheduled to open in December of 2019, the structure truly communicates elegance with an ethereal flair. London-based Steven Chilton Architects was commissioned to create a framework that will effortlessly fuse the sophistication of the art with the understandings of contemporary design.
The stunning theater has a circular shape. Many lengthy stem-like columns surround the entryways, fostering a strong visual impact. The idea behind these angled pillars is to pay tribute to the 'Sea of Bamboo' which is a national park, located just outside of the city. In this way, Steven Chilton Architects is able to tie the exquisite theater to its surroundings. Above, is a golden canopy roof and its colorings offer a warm juxtaposition with the whiteness of the skinny columns.
