Parisian street artist Rubbish uses other people's throwaway items to create intricate paper stenciled art. The artist is said to work hours on end crafting and slicing out designs and wall murals from scrap paper to use in his graffiti.
The stencils in our images are cut as fine as a piece of lace and when sprayed over, leave a stunning delicate effect not usually seen in the world of graffiti. The Frenchman, who hails from Besançon says is influenced by "the great painters, mythology and art nouveau." The talented artist often sprays literary heros from the Beat Generation into his work like Allen Ginesberg, Burroughs and Jack Kerouac. Although the artist hasn't been around that long, I'm sure it won't be long before he catches up with his contemporaries.
