Food-Infused Art Festivals

The UNO and DOS Street Art Festivals Combine Tacos with Edgy Creativity

Street art festivals are sweeping through cities all over the world, showcasing some of the best urban artists of today. The UNO and DOS festivals, created by taco restaurant La Carnita, combine this emphasis on street art with the appreciation of delicious Mexican street food.

By combining food and art with some of the hottest DJs in the city, La Carnita was able to make DOS an incredibly fun party that appreciated different art forms, from food truck creations to vibrant murals.

DOS’s curator, Clay Rochemont, was particularly excited about this year’s festival, since it features street artists from Cape Town to London to Toronto, making it a truly universal event. The art’s emphasis on political activism was also extremely effective, creating a strong art collection that Rochemont couldn't wait to show to festival-goers.
