Stoutnik Beer Branding Likens the Dark Brew to the Universe's Backdrop

The deep color of its contents is spotlighted in Stoutnik Beer packaging. Supposedly brewed to take a mesmerizingly dark shade, the Russian imperial stout is bottled in matte black glass and labeled by matching ebony stickers.

Color, however, was not the only reference that Hired Guns Creative hoped to make between the alcoholic beverage and its brand identity. The geographic origin of the type of booze inspired the name of the drink and additional aspects of its image. A play on the word "Sputnik," a Soviet satellite, the name has been modified so that it also suggests the strength of the brew. The text has been applied in prismatic foil for a celestial aesthetic and a spherical object appears to soar across the background.
