Checkers and Rally’s are Rolling Out Steak Subs for Summer

Following the lead of a number of other fast food brands, Checkers and Rally’s is adding more steak to the menu with its new Steak Subs. With these hearty new offerings, the restaurants aim to cater to consumers looking for a filling, protein-rich meal option. As Checkers explains on its website: "Our subs will never be salad on some bread. That’s because we believe subs should be over-the-top, lip-smacking, ooey gooey good. We’ve got a sub for you whether you’re wanting some Philly flavor or you’re feelin’ Gouda cheese fancy."

Checkers and Rally’s new Steak Subs are topping-heavy sandwiches available in two different varieties: the Philly Cheesesteak Sub and the Loaded Steak Sub. The former consists of seasoned Philly steak on a toasted hoagie roll, topped with Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and Montreal Au Jus mayo. In contrast, the Loaded Steak Sub takes the same seasoned Philly steak and adds white cheese sauce, crispy onion tanglers, grilled onions, and Montreal Au Jus mayo.
