The Steadycam Pro App Smooths Out Wobbly and Shaky iPhone Videos

iPhone photo junkies are going to love the new Steadycam Pro app from Midnox. The Steadycam Pro app removes the wobbles and shakes commonly found in cellphone videos using what its creators call "advanced signal processing algorithms."

Midnox, if you remember, is comprised of the same folks who created the Steadycam Rig for the iPhone. The rig functioned essentially the same way, except that you had to mount it to your iPhone, which made both you and your cellphone look slightly ridiculous. If the demo video is to be believed, then the app works as well as advertised, with screen shaking and wobbling almost completely eliminated.

The app is only compatible with the iPhone 4. It is currently being offered as a free trial version that lets you record 15 minutes of watermarked video or a full version, which removes the watermark and time limit.
